ACAS Exam 5 考试经验分享

论坛里分享ASA的帖子已经挺多了，今天我就来分享下CAS track的 Exam 5的一些经验。考完5已经有过一段时间了，这几年CAS 一直在尝试进行机考的改革，对于机考的经验就爱莫能助了。好在Exam 5的大纲变化不大，有兴趣的可以了解一些考试内容方面的经验。

【教材】：Basic Ratemaking. 官网下载 这本书官网可以免费下载，如果复习时间比较充裕的强烈建议读一读。写的非常好。即使现在考完试，工作中遇到有些问题我也会回去查阅。基本上涵盖了财险精算定价的各项基础理论。
                 Estimating Unpaid Claims Using Basic Techniques 官网下载 评估的教科书，涵盖了基础的评估方法。虽然现在工作中评估基本上有模板和软件，基础方法上，这本书讲的还是挺详细的。
【教辅】：TIA. 个人用的是TIA。比较适合喜欢看视频课程的同学。TIA的Exam 5这个课程比起后面几门，做的还是很不错的。
【其它】：ASOP考纲里有的就读一读，花不了多少时间。另外一个重要的resource就是Examiner's report了。真的非常有用。无论是自我批改还是学习标准解答的格式。常见错误也非常有用，有些主观题自己做的时候看了答案也不知道自己对错，一看发现自己答案在常见错误里，就囧了。。。

Exam 5 总体来说难度并不高，就是定价和评估方法两大块。但是内容特别多，尤其对于从刚考完前面几门课的同学来说，第一次转为简答题形式可能会不太适应。本人第一次考就翻车了。考试非常需要注意细节。很多时候自以为掌握了知识点，实际做题的时候却经常犯错。举个例子，可能你觉得平行四边形法则掌握了，One step, two step trending也知道怎么做了，但是trending period却是永远搞错了，这就属于没注意细节。
评估方面, Cap Cod 基本每年都考一道，算是简单的送分题。Berquist-Sherman 随着机考肯定越来越常见，计算量非常大，经常要算好几个triangle。考试的时候推荐最后做，因为非常花时间，但是一定不要完全放弃。随便写点上去，拿到一点步骤分算一点。
