改革给考试带来的影响

2022年10月，新改革下的FAM考试横空出世，替代了原有的LTAM & STAM考试。

先来说说改革前后的区别：

原来的考试分为长期精算数学（LTAM）以及短期精算数学（STAM），改革后分为精算数学基础（FAM）以及高级长精数学（ASTAM）/高级短精数学（ALTAM）。

改革后的FAM大体上是在短期数学和长期数学中选择了各自的基础部分然后拼接在一起，虽说是基础部分，但复习量其实比原来单独考STAM或者LTAM要大了很多。

改革前后变化

另外，如果有正在备考下一次FAM的同学，值得注意的是FAM还新增了option pricing fundamentals部分。

可能是因为IFM考试被替代的缘故，原本在IFM中的考点出现在了FAM中，但不用太过担心，占比只有2.5%-7.5%，印象中我的那套考题只考到了一两道相关的题，内容也比较简单。

复习时间

关于复习时长方面，因为是边工作边准备考试的状态，所以花的时间肯定会比全职的学生要长，印象中大概准备了2 - 3个月，10月10日正式考试。

使用教材

接下来说说用到的教材，其实考FAM全是靠小伙伴分享的STAM / LTAM视频，然后根据考纲把相关的内容节选出来，前期看视频记笔记花了1 – 2个月，最后刷题花了一个月左右的时间。

其中考前7天正好是国庆节，适合全心全意在家刷题冲刺。Coaching Actuaries刷到6分多，最后考了8分。

多刷题

这次准备FAM最重要的一点就是考前的刷题冲刺，大概做了接近20套题才去考试的，一定一定要多花点时间刷刷题，一方面是熟悉考试题型，另一方面也是训练做题速度，正式考试需要在三个半小时内完成40题，对速度是有一定要求的。

其实FAM并不难，毕竟是精算数学的基础部分，只要多花点时间，都是可以通过的。预祝大家考试顺利！
