感谢各位读者陪精算屋熊猫论坛走过的3个春秋，我们将从2023年一月开始，开展一个全新的月跟栏目《和100个精算从业者的对话》。

我们会每期邀请一位在精算领域学习或工作的人，他可能是经验丰富的精算师，也有可能是刚入职场新人，或是教精算的老师，也可能是在保险精算系学习的学生，甚至可能来自不同的国家和地区。

同时，每期栏目结束会公布下一位被采访者的身份背景，读者们可以通过在留言板块的留言，提出您对下一期采访者感兴趣的问题，我们会部分采纳。

或者，您也希望成为分享者的一员，分享您对于自己在精算领域工作或学习中有趣的看法和见解，欢迎通过留言的方式分享和报名。

第一期我们邀请了目前在伦敦再保工作的Emma，为大家带来关于在英国毕业生精算求职和英国精算工作氛围的一些解答。

简单介绍下你现在的工作，你是怎么找到这份工作的？

我目前是在一家再保公司，在伦敦，主要是做定价模型。这是我的第二份工作，第一份工作的同事跳槽去了现在这个公司然后推荐我来的。

在英国找一份学期中的实习，可能吗？更好的公司呢？

精算的实习，并不是特别容易。因为坑相对少，也有不少不是精算专业的学生一起竞争。感觉找工作是一个努力+运气的过程。

如果你是本科生的话，最好从本科二年级的时候就申请二年级结束的summer intern，这是最好找工作的机会。我有不少朋友都是从这个summer intern里拿到return offer毕业时候回公司上班的。尤其是一些特别好的公司，他们之后graduate scheme就招的比较少，大多就直接用原来给return offer的实习生了

对于研究生而言，如果想留在英国，我觉得要把找给工签的工作作为首要的目标，因为研究生能找工作的时间比较短，机会相对要少，可以广撒网，多多积累面试经验。

你觉得能给在英国找精算工作的小伙伴什么启示呢？

在我看来，在职场里，最重要的就是怎么来处理人与人之间的关系，如果能够建立起一些有机的关系，对于找工作升职和跳槽都是很有帮助的。

比如在找工作的时候，最好的是能抓住一些network的机会，比如找朋友内推，在linkedin约相关人士喝咖啡了解这个工作的详情并酌情请他们内推，这样自己就不会在一个大的pool里和别人竞争，而可以直接被hiring manager看到。

比如在实习的时候，一定要把精力发在最有可能让你留下来的人身上，可以每周约他们了解自己有什么不足和改进的空间。

当然这种network是建立在一种气场相合和感恩的基础上的，有的人可能聊几句就觉得气场不合，那最好早点放弃。还有就是别人如果帮助你，一定要心怀感激，向他们道谢甚至送他们一些礼物或者请他们吃饭，这样才会建立一种良性的人际关系。

英国的工作环境是什么样的？

我觉得英国的工作环境是总体让人更舒适的，尤其对于职场新人来说，比如说作为一个实习生，你只要做完工作就可以下班。所以你可能会发现，每天实习生走的是最早的，其次是基层员工，最后是大老板最晚，因为他们的工作量是最大的 （当然收入也是最高）。

对于工资的话，据我了解的例子是，就精算师而言，伦敦会高比国内，对于General Insurance这个领域，有几年工作经验的持证精算师拿到10万磅的base还挺常见的，如果是本科毕业入行的小朋友，3，5年内考完考试在30岁前就可以拿到10万磅的base并不鲜见。

可以具体说说study support吗？

不同公司政策不一样，我之前的公司一年考试假40天，现在的考试假是45天，那基本上等于一周上四天班，然后年假的话一般有25天，很多人在考试前也会休年假再多学习一会。

然后，考试的各种相关费用都会被报销，每考一门都会加一些工资，不同公司这个加的钱不太一样，我们公司是1000到3000之间，取决于具体科。

据我了解，英国这边并没有对于graduate有硬性的考试门数的要求。我和我很多同事都是进公司了再开始考试，毕竟精算考试那么贵，没有公司support自己付钱真的很肉疼。

英国的公司里，大家都是多块拿到fellow呢，平均年龄呢？

平均可能大概三到六年吧，快的三年，正常的可能六年，慢的也有可能十年。

平均年龄很难说，像我之前在的公司，那些人都考的非常快。就可能是因为他的精算学生非常多，大家有一种竞争的感觉，就有很多人三年考完，但我现在的公司大家考的都挺慢的，有的人考完一门大的科目比如CP1还会给自己放一个长假。

在英国也是像国内一样，甲方比乙方公司轻松吗？有没有一些其他的决定因素？

相对来说是。我之前是在乙方，比如说如果甲方需要什么文件，你就需要赶紧准备。而在甲方，我们可以决定自己的工作方向，会有我们自己的timeline，说到做哪一步就做到一步，就会轻松很多。

当然工作量还取决于，公司的整体的culture，和部门的culture。

像据我了解，美国公司一般工资会比较高，但会比较忙。但是如果以赚钱为目的，还是有很多人愿意去的。瑞士的公司听说也不清闲。其次是英国的公司，英国人在欧洲来说算是最勤劳的民族了，基本上就是朝九晚五，正常假期。然后德国法国的公司是相对轻松，很多人来的晚走得早，时间也比较灵活，还有一些意外惊喜的假期。

总的来说，工作忙不忙，主要取决于你是甲方还是乙方，公司文化团队文化，还有行业性质，当然最最重要的还是你的直属领导。
